The celebrity chef will work with Aramark

16 April 2018 | Marino Donati

Global food and facilities management firm Aramark has partnered with Jamie Oliver in a deal that will see the restaurant group’s food concepts put into offices and workplaces.

Aramark said that the 10-year partnership would provide the opportunity to introduce high street branded concepts such as Jamie Oliver’s Diner and Jamie’s Deli into its client sites in the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe, to complement its own brands.

The Jamie Oliver Group design and culinary teams will also work with Aramark’s culinary team to develop food propositions exclusive to Aramark.

Frank Gleeson, Aramark’s president in Northern Europe said the deal was an opportunity to create innovative culinary experiences that would benefit productivity and health in workplaces.

“We serve hundreds of thousands of people in workplaces, schools and colleges every day, so we have a fantastic opportunity of working together where we can set the agenda for health and nutrition and have a real and lasting impact on people’s lives,” he said.

Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group chief executive Jon Knight said the partnership would give it the opportunity to expand its presence geographically.

“We look forward to working with Aramark and exploring opportunities to establish fully branded retail restaurants in multi-tenanted office and retail environments managed by Aramark,” said Knight.
