Graysons secures two catering contracts

26 January 2018 | Bradford Keen

Contract caterer Graysons has started delivering catering services at Ricardo in Shoreham and at IOP Publishing in Temple Meads, Bristol. The contracts will run for the next five and three years respectively.

The agreement with the UK arm of Ricardo, a global engineering and strategic technical and environmental consultancy business, is worth more than £1.7 million and includes the provision of hospitality services over an initial five-year contract term.

Tim Dray, Ricardo’s site manager for Shoreham & Cambridge Technical Centres, praised the “Wow factor in the restaurant” with exciting food and great service.

At IOP Publishing, a subsidiary of the Institute of Physics, Graysons will manage the staff restaurant for 340 people on site as well as providing hospitality services for meeting rooms and events. The contract will generate a further £550,000 turnover for Graysons.

Toby Beech, facilities manager at IOP Publishing, noted a “great ethos of quality fresh ingredients and bespoke services". He said Graysons was “bringing a taste of the independent high street to IOP”.

Simona Oproiu, Graysons’ business development director, said: “We know that Bristol is considered ‘the city with arguably the best food scene in the UK’ and our aim right from the beginning was to deliver an innovative high-street offer and menus created from the best ingredients we can get our hands on locally.’’
