Indigo has won a contract to manage car parks across the Nene Park Trust country park in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Nene Park Trust is investing in new parking equipment and installing new technology across the country park. Indigo will provide remote management of the parking equipment and maintenance at the Thorpe Meadows, Ferry Meadows and Orton Meadows car parks.

Technology includes payment via the Park Indigo app, Pay & Display or Pay on Foot. There are also free-flow cameras, induction loop detectors for each entry lane, and touch-screen pay stations.

Indigo UK’s regional commercial manager Andy Marr said: “Each car park came with different requirements, and so a tailored approach was crucial in this partnership.”

In June the car park services provider won a five-year contract with Slough Borough Council to provide car-parking services.

Indigo manages more than 600 car parks in the UK across 65 contracts.
