Facilities management provider Kingdom Services Group has acquired recruitment company Xpress.

The organisation provides temporary and permanent staff across warehousing, driving and commercial sectors.

Kingdom states that Xpress will use its platform to “develop further future growth” and “continues the strategic expansion plans of Kingdom”.

Terry Barton, chief executive of Kingdom, said the acquisition would help Kingdom to “grow and develop its recruitment service”.

Kingdom was established in 1993. Over the past 25 years it has grown from a company with seven staff to employing more than 6,000 workers and it operates on a turnover in excess of £100 million.
