Gloucestershire Managed Services (GMS) has appointed Lee Wyatt as its operations director.
Wyatt will drive several of GMS’s key services including domestic services, food services, estates and maintenance, portering, transport, security, materials management and security.
He previously worked at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and held previous senior facilities management roles at BAE Systems and Corus. GMS said Wyatt brought with him a wealth of facilities and sector-related knowledge from large, complex organisations.
Established in 2018, GMS is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. GMS is an integral part of Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, providing essential facilities and estates management services.
The appointment comes as GMS is preparing to launch its new three-year business plan to verify GMS as a sustainable business.
