Caterer Compass Group has said it will refuse money from the government’s furlough scheme.
A spokeswoman told Facilitate that the company could not discuss the details of the decision.
Compass has joined companies such as Rightmove, Primark and John Lewis, who have also refused the scheme that Rishi Sunak announced at the height of the pandemic to curb redundancies.
The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme promised to provide workers with 80 per cent of their current salary and will continue until end of October.
