This year’s IWFM Conference is to take place as a virtual event, with sessions running live and online every day from Monday 21 September up until the principal mega-trends conference event on 25 September.
Chris Moriarty, IWFM director of insight & engagement, says that the conference platform will now be live for a whole week leading up to the main conference day.
“The theme we chose this year is Navigating Turbulent Times and when we planned it last autumn we had no idea that it would turn out to be so apt.” said Moriarty.
“As the climate for face-to-face events remains unpredictable, and with the wellbeing of everyone in mind we've decided that our 2020 event will happen live and online.”
Putting on sessions from the start of conference week “gives us the opportunity to provide commentary interaction and networking right across the week,” added Moriarty, giving participants “more time to network and engage with a full mega trends programme live on the 25 September”.
“With a programme that could not be more relevant to the time we find ourselves in, we are thrilled to bring you an exciting and thought-provoking programme of speakers, presenters and provocateurs,” said Moriarty. “They will be guiding us through some of the major challenges facing society and the world of work right now captured in four mega-trends; wellbeing, the future of work; technology and climate change.”
