A total of 20 entries from the 69 submitted for the IWFM’s Covid-19 Response Award are being put to the public vote over the course of the next two weeks. Voting opened yesterday.
The huge variety in entries received for the new category of the IWFM Impact Awards announced in June has led to a specially convened IWFM Award Panel opting to shortlist five entries in each of the following four groupings:
- Adapting to New Realities
- Keeping Good Work Going
- On the COVID Frontline
- Supporting the Community
“Deciding which entries deserved putting to the public vote could not have been more difficult,” said chair of judges Julie Kortens.
“Every entry we received told a story of workplace and facilities professionals going far beyond their normal activities to help their colleagues and communities navigate these extraordinary times.
“Once we saw the entries coming through, we quickly realised that trying to get to a single winner simply could not do justice to the range and scale of initiatives we had. So we have devised four distinct groups – four awards – to further highlight just how varied and dynamic our profession is and to give more of these teams the spotlight they deserve.”
Voting is open and Facilitate readers are encouraged to pick their favourite stories in each of the four groups. To have your say, please view the shortlist here.
