The IWFM Impact Awards 2020 virtual ceremony takes place on Monday, 12 October at 4.30pm BST and will last approximately 45 minutes.
Those wishing to watch the ceremony can register for free – and can do so until 2pm on Monday. For obvious reasons, this is the first virtual ceremony.
IWFM said: "We hope this is a one-off, and that 2021 will see us return to some sort of normality. But running the ceremony online gives us the opportunity to bring the stories of our finalists and winners into the offices and homes of all our members."
There are 15 categories to be announced, four of which celebrate the effective and efficient response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
IWFM has provided five reasons why people should attend the ceremony:
- To celebrate with friends, family or colleagues – whether it’s a video call, socially distanced meeting or in the living room at home;
- To support inspiring and innovative individuals, projects and teams within the workplace and facilities management industry;
- It's free to attend;
- Recognise the achievements of those that responded to the pandemic with the Covid-19 Response Award; and
- It’s the 20th anniversary of the IWFM Impact Awards.
During the ceremony, attendees will hear from IWFM chair Martin Bell, chair of Judges Julie Kortens, and IWFM CEO Linda Hausmanis.
