Brayborne Facilities Services has been awarded a contract to supply cleaning services at eight primary schools across south-east London run by Compass Partnership of Schools Trust.
The appointment is the latest of a series of education cleaning deals secured by Brayborne covering 20 sites across southern England.
The works involve daily and periodic cleaning, waste management, external and internal window cleaning, specialist hard floor cleaning, carpet cleaning, and kitchen deep cleaning at most sites. As standard, ATP testing is conducted on each site at the contract's start and then again a month in to assess the efficacy of the service.
The company, part of The Exclusive Services Group, manages more than 1,100 staff across 250 contracts specialising in daily and periodic cleaning in the commercial and educational sectors.
Other contracts in the sector picked up in 2020 by Brayborne include West London's Hammersmith Academy (pictured); The Clere secondary in Newbury; GFM Education's secondary schools Bay House and Brune Park; five sites operated by Havant & Southdown Colleges; Haberdashers Aske's Federation's Knights Academy, Knights Temple Grove and Hatcham College.
Exclusive Services operates a group learning and development centre and a British Institute of Cleaning Science-accredited training hub in Swindon, delivering industry-recognised qualification courses to staff and management.
All operatives employed by ISO14001-accredited Brayborne are measured and assessed to minimise the environmental impact of service provision daily.
Amanda Fry, divisional director, said: "The denominator particularly common to schools during this pandemic is the need for provider flexibility.”
