Andron Facilities Management has taken a five-year combined soft services contract with Jones Lang La Salle (JLL) at five retail centres across the UK.
The contract was won in a competitive tender process and builds on Andron’s existing partnership with real estate adviser JLL, which began in 2015 and now entails more than 200 sites across Scotland, the North of England, and London.
Under the new deal, Andron will supply cleaning, security, customer service, waste management, and additional soft FM services at five shopping centres across Scotland and the north of England, including Gretna Gateway, Golden Square, Winsford Cross, Airedale, and Church Square. The company will deploy about 200 staff members across the centres, supported by a dedicated JLL management team to guarantee a “customer-focused, ‘one team’ approach at all levels”.
Andron said it would also play an essential role in JLL’s mission to ‘Build a better tomorrow’ by introducing several sustainability initiatives at each centre, focusing on the key pillars of wellbeing, community, and reducing environmental impacts. The shopping centres will employ the latest data-driven technology to allow Andron’s teams to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for all visitors.
Paul Orru, Andron’s operations director, said: “Retail is a key industry sector for Andron, and these shopping centres are a welcomed addition to our extensive UK retail portfolio. We look forward to collaborating with JLL, the centre management teams, and all supply chain partners, to create a welcoming and safe environment, and an exceptional customer experience.”
