Axis Security has been awarded a £1.2 million security services contract by property group CEG, whose property portfolio is valued at £800 million.
Axis took control of the national portfolio on 1 October.
Formed in 1989 as a commercial estates manager, CEG now has offices in London, Leeds, Birmingham and Cornwall and its portfolio covers six million square feet.
David Mundell, Axis Security’s managing director, said Axis offers both a core and enhanced service, as all dedicated staff are given first aid, fire marshal and customer service training.
Site-based officers are supported by mobile patrols.
“There is an increasing demand for security officers that not only perform their primary function but also uphold their employers’ reputation and retain their customer base by providing excellent customer service.
“Our people-centred strategy means our staff receive a level of training that enables us to deliver a service noted for its consistency and excellence nationwide. We can also deliver a tailored approach to individual sites, which is why major companies such as CEG are placing such huge trust in our people.”
