Interserve Group has announced that Lynn Mawdsley, managing director of its Support Services division, is stepping down to focus on a non-executive career.
Mawdsley was appointed as managing director in January 2020, having joined in January 2019 as deputy group chief financial officer (CFO) of Interserve Plc, and CFO of the Support Services division.
The announcement follows today’s completion of Mitie’s acquisition of Interserve’s Support Services facilities management division.
Interserve Group chairman Alan Lovell said that Mawdsley “has played a pivotal role at Interserve over the last two years”.
“As well as helping the business navigate a period of major transition, she has led the Support Services division through the sale process as well as the Covid-19 crisis, ensuring delivery of our critical facilities management services to public and private sector customers, including the North West Nightingale NHS Hospital Trust.”
Mawdsley added: “The last two years have been incredibly challenging. I’m proud of what we have achieved as a team, particularly in 2020, given the context in which we have all been operating.”
