Cleaning and security services company Excellerate Services has acquired contract cleaning specialist CCM Facilities.
The acquisition means that the two national businesses now have a combined annual turnover of £45 million, and employ about 2,500 colleagues across 700 locations.
CCM was founded in 1990 by Alastair Fox to deliver bespoke cleaning and facilities solutions in an ethical and sustainable way. Excellerate Services UK is owned by Excellerate, a major African property services company operating in sub-Saharan territories.
Both companies say they are committed to implementing Excellerate’s technology platforms, as well as integrating extensive intellectual property, to deliver a more tech-based, transparent and efficient cleaning service to its clients.
Keith French, Excellerate Services’ CEO, said: “This acquisition is a key part of our growth strategy and represents a great opportunity to continue adding value to our customers. We are very excited about the future service potential – we bring scale, technology and innovation; CCM brings an extensive client list, and cleaning expertise, plus we both have a reputation for great customer service. The sharing of best practice will drive an even better service for our clients.”
