Andrew Price has been appointed as the interim country manager for ISS UK and Ireland.
Price joined in 1995 and latterly held senior positions in ISS Group – as head of global key accounts and group chief commercial officer.
His caretaker position comes after his predecessor, Purvin Patel, decided to move to India.
Jacob Aarup-Andersen, group CEO, announced the new OneISS strategy in December and the UK executive team will be announcing a new country manager for the UK and Ireland early in 2021 to implement the new strategy and drive the UK business forward.
In the meantime, Price will work with the UK and Ireland leadership team through 2021 until the new appointment is made, giving stability and leadership as the team starts to deliver its new strategy.
ISS says this involves “sharpening our focus on key segments, accelerating technology investments, and introducing a new globally aligned operating model. We will use our global scale to drive superior value for all stakeholders to become the most respected global leader in integrated facility services and strengthen our position as number one in cleaning”.
The operating model and organisational structure “will become globally aligned and more effective at leveraging best practices across customers and geographies to unleash our global scale”, says the group.
Once the new country manager is in place, Price will take up a new role as head of strategic growth, focusing on the group’s long-term commercial value, “ensuring that ISS continues to anticipate and deliver to support customers’ strategic objectives“.
