Samsic UK has been awarded a security services contract with Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire.
The deal includes the provision of a front-of-house concierge, reception, guarding, patrols, keyholding and alarm response services for the main council offices as well as business centres in the borough.
Andrew Hallam, Samsic UK’s security director, said: “The contract is a great opportunity for our business and extends our relationship with city, county, borough and district councils in the immediate vicinity.”
The company is a long-standing security provider for local authorities in Leicestershire, including Rutland County Council, Leicester City Council, and Leicestershire County Council. It operates in parks, open spaces, libraries, day centres, commercial offices, recycling centres, benefits offices, schools, cemeteries and vacant properties.
Samsic UK has more than 3,000 personnel carrying out cleaning, security and related hard and soft services from 12 regional offices to at least 1,700 sites on behalf of 750 organisations. London sites are served by premium brand provider JPC by Samsic.
