FM operator the Westgrove Group is launching into the total facilities management market by adding hard services to its established soft services provision.
This expansion will see the 22-year-old group offering planned and reactive maintenance services to existing and new partners across the UK.
To strengthen its position in the market, Westgrove has appointed Paul Booth as its technical services director to drive its business forward. He joins the Westgrove leadership team to support its growth in hard facilities management.
Booth has worked extensively in FM on the front line and in management and brings experience in delivering engineering services to a broad range of partners.
The group has already secured its first TFM deal with Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull, delivering cleaning, security, concierge and hard services with a team of 60 employees.
Claire McKinley-Smith, Westgrove’s managing director, said: “Hard services will add real value to our already strong soft services offering, and we are confident that Paul will help us take the business into new sectors and services.”
Warrington-based Westgrove, founded by group chairmen Simon Whittle and Steve Fives, specialises in providing TFM at shopping centres and mixed-use destinations, manufacturing, business parks and airports nationwide. Since it was founded, the group has expanded into a £30 million turnover business.
