Facilities engineering business Edwin James Group is aligning its brands as it launches expansion plans and invests in training and technology across the UK.
Jex Process Services will become EJ Musk Process Services, and Korrie Technical Services will align with the EJ Parker Technical Services.
The Glasgow-headquartered group said bringing the companies together under two business units would enable better customer service through joint engineering and manufacturing expertise.
Both businesses will carry on delivering engineering services with a more defined offer to the market. The group said there would be no job losses as a result of the integration and operational teams would remain unchanged in their focus on providing a high-quality service to customers.
Christopher Kehoe, CEO of Edwin James Group, said: “A clear focus on engineering excellence in both process and technical services is driving our business forward. Customers will benefit from the strength of our combined capabilities and a clearer offer. We are investing in technology and our people to ensure we continue to provide industry-leading service.”
Both the Musk and Parker brands work with clients across the UK. Musk works in partnership with companies to improve manufacturing capability and competitive advantage. Parker offers clients a package of technical services for the built environment.
