FM outsourcer Bidvest Noonan has appointed James Dunnett as director of operations for facilities solutions.
The company has been active on the acquisition trail in the UK and Ireland this year – it purchased security specialist Axis Group in early February, and then this week it announced its takeover of Dublin-based hard FM provider Interact.
Bidvest Noonan said that to support its growth it has chosen Dunnett, who has been a senior figure in the industry for a long time, to strengthen its senior management team. He has over 20 years of experience in senior roles in the industry at several of the UK's largest FM players, including Mitie and Interserve.
Dunnett began his career as an engineer and has developed expertise and strong relationships in many of Bidvest Noonan's core market sectors. As director of operations, he will enable the facilities solutions business “to continue meeting customer expectations during this period of rapid growth”.
Janice Brannigan, Bidvest Noonan’s managing director, said: “This appointment is an important investment in our business and will enable us to pursue our growth strategy while delivering exceptional value and support to clients."
Dunnett added: "I am excited to work with Janice and all my colleagues to support our outstanding portfolio of clients."
