FM provider Polyteck has signed a three-year multi-service engineering management deal with global advertising firm McCann Worldgroup to maintain its London HQ.
Polyteck will carry out maintenance and engineering services ranging from heating, ventilation and air conditioning and other electrical equipment, to fire and security operations at the US-owned agency’s new Bishopsgate office in the City of London.
The contract will see Polyteck offer a flexible service to support the advertising group’s transition back to normal workplace footfall. London-based Polyteck was chosen in a competitive tender exercise.
McCann Worldgroup is relocating more than 10 of its agencies to the new base to support a more collaborative approach and the supplier partnership was an important criterion in the contract tender process.
Lucy d'Eyncourt-Harvey, building operations director at McCann Worldgroup, said: “Integration for our agencies was a key driver for the move, and our engineering partner is a key element of our ‘one-team’ approach.”
Neil Wheadon, operations director at Polyteck, added: “Our in-house team of experts will ensure that we see a smooth transition back to ‘normality’, enabling the group to focus on its core business as the economy recovers.”
