VINCI Facilities has extended its contract with Shell UK Retail to provide services across its nationwide portfolio of forecourts.
The link was created in 2018, when VINCI Facilities became one of Shell’s main hard FM providers, operating services at 562 Shell service stations in the UK.
So far, VINCI Facilities’ team has made savings for the client of more than 10 per cent on a like-for-like basis. The partners said that the collaboration has led to a strong safety record, with no lost-time injuries and the team has surpassed health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) KPIs for two years in succession by embedding a leading indicator-based HSSE strategy.
VINCI Facilities added that the close relationship made it easier to create a flexible and agile operational plan during Covid-19, reducing risk to front-line engineers while supporting Shell teams to keep sites open.
Jack Prady, VINCI account director said: “One of the highlights of the last 12 months has been developing a maintenance model to support the new electric vehicle (EV) charging points and infrastructure, and we are looking forward to continuing the partnership and helping support Shell’s mobility ambitions beyond 2021.”
