FM provider Graham has secured a three-year water hygiene compliance contract with East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
The company will carry out anti-legionella planned maintenance, risk assessments and remedial works across the trust‘s five main hospital sites – Canterbury Hospital, Buckland Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, William Harvey Hospital and Royal Victoria Hospital.
East Kent Hospitals is one of the largest hospital trusts in England and serves a population of about 695,000 people. It has developed a national and international reputation for delivering high-quality specialist care – particularly in urology, kidney disease and vascular treatments.
Chris Shepherd, Graham’s contracts manager, said: “The trust provides ‘great healthcare’ wrapped in a ‘we care’ philosophy. Our intention is to replicate its high standards and ensure that it has total confidence that its statutory water hygiene obligations are being met, monitored and, ultimately, complied with. This latest contract adds to our growing healthcare portfolio across the UK and, following the heroic efforts of the NHS in responding to the Covid-10 pandemic, we are especially proud to be a trusted partner.”
