Relocation services provider Business Moves Group (BMG) has restructured its operating model in order to centralise pricing, planning and billing activities across the group.
The new structure will, the company says, allow cost savings that will be given to clients.
It involves ‘stripping back processes’ and transferring administrative responsibility from the firm’s regional branches to a centralised hub. This, BMG says, will allow its regional teams to focus entirely on its customer needs.
BMG has also incorporated its subsidiary firms into the core company so that project management, technical distribution and furniture management are all part of the service offer.
The company will retain its six offices in Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Reading and London, but these will allocated into four new regional divisions. Also, new reporting systems will include an online surveying tool using sales drones to assess the intricacies of a site in order that operations teams know exactly what a project involves before arriving on site. BMG has also stepped up its waste management and CSR reporting.
