Inviron has retained a rolling eight-year deal with Anglian Water for the EAWR Framework Contract.
Anglian Water provides clean water and water recycling services to customers across the East Anglian region.
Its estate contains 10,000 processing sites of varying size and type, including water recycling centres, water recycling pumping stations, treatment works, water booster stations, reservoirs and towers.
This multimillion-pound, multi-year framework entails production of electrical installation condition reports (electrical test, inspection and certification) plus undertaking remedial works and electrical installation work to BS7671:2018 standard.
Roger Daniels, Anglian Water’s electrical maintenance (statutory compliance) manager, said: “This contract continues a 20-plus-year partnership which enables Anglian Water to continue to deliver on our goals for our customers. We are safe in the knowledge that our electrical installations are being looked after in terms of formal compliance and a base level of resilience by Inviron. The tender process was thorough and competitive, and I look forward to exploring opportunities for innovation, evolution and technology use offered through the tender process.”
Noel Clancy, Inviron managing director, added: “During the competitive bid process we were able to evidence our understanding of the unique complexities associated with their challenging facilities and framework programme. There is no better testament to your ability than a client choosing to work with you for another term and we are looking forward to strengthening our partnership through this framework and exploring where our wider group expertise can help bring an innovative approach to Anglian Water.”
