AM Services Group has won a security contract at The Merrion Centre shopping centre in the Arena Quarter area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, with Town Centre Securities (TCS) plc.
The deal also includes 123 Albion Street and three residential schemes in Leeds owned by property investment and car parking operator Town Centre Securities PLC (TCS).
For the next three years, AM Services Group will provide CCTV, concierge, reception, mall and administrative support with a focus on safeguarding both customers and local communities.
The centre lies at the heart of the city and has been owned, managed and redeveloped by TCS since it was built in 1964. The 1,000,000-square-foot mixed-use island site comprises commercial, office, retail and leisure space, as well as having an adjoining 960 space CitiPark car park, bowling alley and ibis Styles Leeds City Centre Arena Hotel.
An extensive £5 million redevelopment programme at the mixed-use 123 Albion Street scheme saw TCS deliver circa 65,000 square ft of grade A offices and an additional 22,000 sq ft of ground-floor multi-functional space.
Darren Brookes, TCS’s head of operations, said: “We are focused on providing the highest levels of service in our properties and facilities, delivering excellence within the new customer experience that the Covid-19 response continues to demand. AM Services Group demonstrated, throughout the tender and mobilisation process, that it has the experience to understand and the skills to deliver the concierge-style service we require.”
