The London School of Economics has reappointed Wates FM to continue its planned and responsive maintenance contract for four more years.
Since August 2017, Wates has provided a range of maintenance services across the university’s 30 campus buildings, seven halls of residence across central London as well as a 9.5-hectare sports complex in New Malden, Surrey.
The renewed contract, which includes an option for another two years, will see two new colleagues added to the on-site delivery team including a dedicated supervisor and another static engineer.
James Gregg, managing director of Wates FM, said: “We look forward to continuing to provide an excellent service which helps the university in their mission to support a caring and supportive learning environment.
He added: “Wates FM is highly experienced in providing critical repair and maintenance services in live environments. Our team of specialists carry out all essential and planned works alongside teaching and learning opportunities, minimising disruption to students and staff whilst maintaining our first-class safety record.”
