Under the contract, the specialist property manager will carry out day-to-day estate management of the entire logistics and industrial portfolio. As well as dealing with all aspects of daily and financial management of the assets, the company will work with the appointed asset manager to pursue value-generating opportunities using its experience within the industrial and logistics markets to add to the portfolio’s value.
London-based Lee Baron‘s remit also includes helping the client to drive environmental initiatives to improve the green credentials of the properties.
The total floor space of the portfolio is about 1.4 million square feet, generating over £4 million a year in rent. It comprises the 350,000 square-feet-plus Aggregator Portfolio, which contains assets in seven locations in England and Scotland; the 940,000 square-foot Monument Portfolio, and two other assets in Lancaster and Milton Keynes.
Robert Hobson, director of Lee Baron, said: “Ardent Companies… is a seasoned and successful organisation, and we look forward to sharing our breadth of expertise and management oversight as part of this ongoing project. As Ardent UK looks to acquire other opportunities throughout the UK in a number of asset classes, we aim to help the firm meet its objectives during this exciting period of growth.”
