Ward Security has been chosen to provide security and risk management at a new building in Farringdon bordering the City of London.
The landmark development is located on the London Cycle Superhighway and comprises modern office floor space, an auditorium, fitness studio, a variety of terraces, a winter garden and retail space.
The company said: “Farringdon is a magnetic destination that has undergone significant change and investment over the last few years. This fantastic community attracts high-end businesses with creative and talented people that have specific criteria for their workplace in respect of sustainability, wellbeing, and local amenities.”
The contract win was announced this week as the firm launched its Ward Intelligent Solutions team.
Ben Draper, chief operating officer, said: “Our customers have evolving needs and this has been accelerated by the coronavirus pandemic. The Ward business continues to be agile and our Intelligent Solutions team has been created to focus on designing technology-enhanced, intelligent solutions, utilising the full range of our capabilities.”

We have brought together our National Operations Centre (NOC), Mobile and Technical services to formally create one team that sits alongside our security personnel and canine services. ”
Ward‘s services include manned guarding, CCTV security systems, concierge and reception services, void property management, guard dog security, search and detection dogs, key holding, security guard patrol services, alarm systems, intruder detection, plus lone worker support and response.
