Bellrock Property & Facilities Management has been appointed as a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service’s Estate Management Services (EMS) framework.
The framework, managed by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), is open to all public sector bodies offering a broad range of suppliers that have demonstrated capacity, capability, and expertise in their respective lots. This allows government bodies to access services from a range of suppliers who have already gone through a CCS procurement process to assess quality and price.
Bellrock will deliver its Strategic Service Integrator (SSI) solutions within the EMS framework lot 7 – Integrated Workplace Management:
- System: support operational and strategic workplace management as configured to the buyer’s requirements and provide the required IT systems, application hosting, implementation, training, support and security for the management of the services.
- Help desk: the supplier shall provide a help-desk facility, which will be the single point of contact for all service users in relation to all workplace, property and FM-related service requests.
- Performance management, analysis and reporting: the supplier shall have the capability to provide a comprehensive and flexible reporting solution to cover the functional, operational and strategic aspects
- Innovation, technology and data.
Bellrock manages over £1.3 billion of FM works for more than 1,000 clients in the UK. The company claims that clients typically experience a 10 per cent improvement in statutory compliance and up to a reduction of about a third in expenditure. This is backed up by in-house expertise across supply chain management, technical projects, asset capture, building surveys, risk assessments and life cycle management.
The SSI is a delivery vehicle that provides government bodies with a flexible plug-and-play way to deliver property and FM services. It recognises that government bodies will have varying levels of estate maturity which traditional FM delivery models might not recognise. Bellforck said the model provides a mechanism to move up the “maturity curve, enabling advancement to a fully optimised estate over time”.
David Smith, CEO, Bellrock Property & Facilities Management, said: “Being awarded a place on the new CCS framework provides us with a platform to share our Strategic Service Integrator with government bodies across the UK, providing them with data and insight to make fully informed decisions. Our experience and relationships with over 120 government organisations means that we are well positioned to provide solutions to meet the current and future challenges of government estate directors.
“Our SSI model has become increasingly attractive to our customers due to its flexibility and control it provides them, incorporating the right blend of subcontracted and self-delivered services to provide the most efficient workflows in order to drive efficiency to reduce cost and risk.”
