Penguin FM has appointed Paul Gisby as its new managing director to carry out expansion plans with the opening of a central London office.
The Leeds-based company is expanding its sphere of activities within London and the South of England.
Gisby takes up the senior strategic post, bringing with him over 30 years’ experience within the FM and construction sectors. His previous roles have included director-level positions at Managed Property Services and Premier Technical Services Group.
He also plays an active role within the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), having formerly been vice-chair of the CIBSE FM Group.
Edward Wick, who co-founded the company with Rohin Dhand, said, “Paul’s appointment is a significant and exciting move for Penguin and will further strengthen our position in the South of England. He brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and experience which our team members and the company as a whole will really benefit from.”
Dhand added: “Paul joins us at a crucial time for London companies looking to emerge from the pandemic and we are absolutely committed to helping clients save on their bottom line and innovating further across our FM services. Paul will be crucial in leading our team in the South and achieving this for us.”
Gisby commented: “Penguin FM is a dynamic and fast-growing service provider with a young and ambitious team. They’re dedicated to achieving sustainable growth and delivering the best for clients, so our values properly align.”
