Bellrock Property & Facilities Management, provider of risk-focused workplace and property management, has secured backing from new owner Sun European Partners, LLP to strengthen its growth potential.
Sun European is a private investment adviser “focused on defensible businesses in growing markets with tangible improvement opportunities”.
Bellrock said the partnership would enable it to capitalise on “a unique and differentiated business model” delivered through Concerto – Bellrock Group’s integrated technology platform Concerto.
Bellrock said that during its previous partnership with Horizon Capital it saw revenues quadruple in size to over £160 million. In addition to organic growth, the acquisition of 11 add-on companies had built scale, depth in new sectors and geographic reach while widening Bellrock’s capabilities and bolstering its technology offering. It added that “the transformation has been underpinned by continuous investment in Concerto, putting Bellrock in a great position to capitalise on estate digitisation and future trends in the FM and property market”.
David Smith, Bellrock’s CEO, said the partnership would focus on “key market challenges around sustainability and carbon net zero, whilst continuing our investment in disruptive technologies such as advanced automation and data analytics”.
He added: “I would like to thank Horizon Capital, who through our journey together, have helped us deliver, expand, and evolve Bellrock into the market leader it is today. We are proud to offer the FM market a differentiated proposition challenging the traditional low service FM delivery model.”
Paul Daccus, managing director of Sun European Partners, said Bellrock had a highly experienced management team with a proven track record of integrating acquisitions and gaining market share through their proprietary software offering.”
Bellrock employs 1,500 property and facilities staff at 75 sites across the UK working for clients with access to more than 2,000 supply chain partners. Its FM services are delivered through three divisions – Workplace & Compliance, Technical & Real Estate and Maintenance & Engineering.
