David Sharp, the new head of judges of the IWFM Impact Awards, is asking institute members to come forward with their own ideas on potential new categories for the 2022 programme.
Sharp, who is keen to ensure the sector’s preeminent awards scheme retains its reputation as being representative of the sector’s broad range of activities, is asking for ideas from anyone with an interest.
“Our awards are rightly lauded for the rigour of the process,” said Sharp, “and one component of that is ensuring that our suite of categories is based both on comprehensive coverage and popular appeal. With our 2021 winners fresh in people’s minds, now’s the time to see if others have ideas for categories that we can incorporate for 2022.”
Anyone who wishes to have their idea heard needs only to give their name and contact details, as well as their suggestion of category.
This consultation exercise should be completed by the end of next week, Friday 12th November. The final list of categories for the IWFM Impact Awards 2022 will go live when the new year’s scheme is launched in January.
