The Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management has published a public statement detailing its policy, ambition and commitment to improving equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) practices in the institute and its membership, as well as in the broader profession.
In addition to its public statement, IWFM has set up a volunteer EDI Focus Group, which helped to finalise the document, and launched an EDI webpage explaining the motivation behind this initiative and listing core activities in the upcoming months and years.
- How and why IWFM will collect, analyse and use data to identify 'what good looks like';
- How the data will be used to improve diversity and inclusion across the sector; and
- The activities of the members of the EDI Focus Group.
