A new exhibition, The Workplace Event, focusing on workplace and facilities management, will take place from 5-7 April 2022 at the NEC Birmingham.

The event, a development of its predecessor The Facilities Show, will feature a main exhibition space, where visitors will be able to learn about the latest developments in workplace and facilities management, including CAFM, catering, cleaning, security, interiors and health and wellbeing.

It will gather practitioners from facilities, HR, technology, real estate, design, architecture, consultants and advisers to share best practice, industry updates and trends in workplace experience.

The event will also feature The Knowledge Hub, a conference with experts speaking on topics including shifting employee expectations, workplace digitisation and hybrid working.

There will also be The Wellbeing Recharge Zone with quiet spaces where visitors and exhibitors can engage in interactive wellbeing initiatives.

The Workplace Event will feature more than 100 exhibitors and suppliers of workplace interiors and design, digital technology, facilities services and building management.

The event is free to attend and is part of The Safety & Security Series. It is co-located with The Health & Safety Event, The Fire Safety Event, The Security Event and National Cyber Security Show.

Tristan Norman, group director of exhibition organiser Nineteen Group, said that the event had been developed to reflect how the industry had evolved considerably over the last few years.

“The last two years have seen the rise of hybrid working and increased flexibility, and the workplace has been at the forefront of making this transition a success,” he said. “The Workplace Event will be the go-to place for everyone who wants to stay ahead of the game in these exciting and challenging times.”
