Atalian Servest has been awarded a hard FM contract by the Scottish Police Authority (SPA), starting on 1 December 2021.
The service provider will deliver a range of hard FM services across 450 buildings and 450,000 square metres of infrastructure.
Services will include M&E, HVAC, capital projects and an inclusive package of compliance services such as pest control and fire safety management.
FM contracts worth over £1.6 billion have been awarded by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) to deliver vital building maintenance and repairs across the UK’s defence estate.
The contracts form part of the new Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) programme, which is split into three phases and will see a total of 10 new contracts being awarded between now and 2022. The DIO said it is currently the most valuable FM procurement in Europe.
Mitie has boosted its 12-year relationship with North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust with a new five-year contract to deliver FM and catering services in all of its hospitals.
The provider will continue to deliver FM and catering services at Stamford and Rutland Hospital in Stamford, Lincolnshire, and Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Cambridgeshire. The contract is worth £4.2 million a year and Mitie will additionally be cleaning four of Peterborough City Hospital’s non-PFI buildings.
