The 2020 survey saw 345 respondents give the institute a continued benchmark of perceptions on priorities, performance and governance around sustainability in members’ organisations and the barriers to, and influences on, sustainable practices. With a huge rise in the importance of social value and wellbeing in recent years, the survey also gives insights into both these topics and the impact of Covid-19 on the future of sustainability in the workplace.
The 15th edition of IWFM’s Pay and Prospects report offered analysed and distilled the views of nearly 900 facilities professionals into a comprehensive picture of what it is like to work in a pivotal part of the economy in the 2020s – from the pay, perks and professional development opportunities of the people to the configuration and corporate values of the organisations employing them.
From the Covid-19 pandemic to the Brexit negotiations, 2020 was a year of unprecedented challenges and uncertainty for the UK economy.
