FM company A&R Services has been awarded a cleaning contract with Snowdonia National Park in Wales.
Snowdonia is a mountainous region in the north-west of the country and the national park covers 2,130 square kilometres. It was the first of Wales’s three national parks, designated in 1951.
After a competitive tender process, the Bridgend-based soft FM provider gained the contract on 1st April.
Dora Vasarhelyi, the company’s operations director said: “We are extremely happy to be working with Snowdonia National Park. Thanks to our investment in new technology and the quality of our staff, we are able to stay ahead of the curve, bring in exciting new clients such as Snowdonia and continue our expansion across the UK.”
The company said that this contract followed other recent wins and continues its growth following a management buyout in March. Following the MBO it outlined plans to create 150 jobs, with plans to create jobs across South Wales and south-west England as the business looks to expand its footprint.
A&R Services already supplies soft services for major clients such as Welsh Water and One Central Square.
Ashley Davies, managing director of A&R Services, said “Snowdonia is the largest national park in Wales and has over 10 million visitors per year, covering 823 square miles. We are glad that our amazing team get to deliver the very best service to them across 17 locations.”
A&R Services is currently launching an app that allows clients to see real-time information about forthcoming and previous jobs, audits and more.
Chloe Stanford, executive director of A&R Services, said: “We are always looking for new ways to make things simpler for our clients and improve our services. Our new app saves our clients valuable time and gives them all the information they need in their pockets.”
