Richard Irvin FM has secured a series of contracts with a combined value of over £670 million with new clients in Scotland and the North of England.

The contracts and frameworks will be undertaken by the firm’s housing, mobile, managed services and project divisions.

The technical management services and energy solutions provider said that these gains underpin a strong business performance so far this year strengthened by long-term relationships with more than 170 clients across all its divisions.

Contracts won in the north of England:

  • A new housing framework from EN:Procure involving installation, servicing, maintenance and repair works expected to offer a pipeline of £650 million over its four-year duration. Efficiency North is extending its social housing landlord membership across the whole of the region, and is continuing its strategy of supporting social mobility in the communities of member landlords by boosting local training and employment opportunities.
  • Undertaking upgrades to North Tyneside Council, carrying out electrical repairs including replacing distribution boards, upgrading earthing and replacement of electrical accessories with kitchen upgrades and associated works.  The framework is worth £4 million over four years.

Contracts in Scotland:

  •  A £7 million long-term deal to provide energy management and project services for care organisation Erskine, which supports ex-service personnel in Scotland.
  • A contract awarded by Highland Reserve Forces & Cadets Association to provide domestic and commercial gas servicing and a four-year extension to its current domestic gas servicing contract with Highland Council.
  • A four-year, £4.8 million hard FM framework for Aberdeenshire Council, which includes lifecycle component replacement works to maintain the operational life of a council building and Aberdeen City Council on its multi-trades framework relating to both housing and commercial estates.
  • A two-year, £4.4 million contract with Falkirk Council’s framework to provide domestic gas boiler and appliance maintenance, and annual maintenance and servicing checks.

Mark Buchan, CEO of Richard Irvin FM, said: “The business has emerged from the pandemic in good strength and this is evident from the recent contract and framework appointments which present a fantastic opportunity to fuel growth and consolidate our market-leading position in Scotland and the North of England.”
