Kier appointed to £35bn CCS framework – iStock

Kier Places has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) £35 billion facilities management and workplace services RM6232 framework.

Kier has been appointed to Lot Group 2 – Hard Facilities Management, Lot 2b and Lot 2c on the framework.

The four-year framework includes a focus on net zero and supply chain partnerships. 

Kier will provide:

  • A full range of hard services;
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering;
  • Maintenance; 
  • Internal and external building fabric maintenance; and 
  • Statutory obligations including asbestos management and electrical testing.

Mark Whittaker, managing director at Kier Places, said: “As an experienced supplier of FM services to central and local government clients, we are delighted to have been appointed to the CCS Facilities Management and Workplace Services Framework.

“We’ll use our extensive expertise to deliver stand-out FM support that will provide a quality service for the occupants of the buildings, as well as providing social value to the wider communities we will operate in.”
