Inviron has been awarded a contract by AtlasEdge for two data centre facilities in London and Leeds and will serve as a long-term framework partner to support the technology firm’s growth in the UK.

AtlasEdge is a European data centre business that aims to create Europe’s leading-edge platform, delivering localised and ultra-low latency digital infrastructure to clients.

Created through a joint investment by Liberty Global and DigitalBridge, AtlasEdge has an expanding portfolio of more than 100 data centres across the Continent, providing proximity to the core network that is critical for the technology of tomorrow.

Inviron said its technical knowledge and industry insight were key factors in gaining the contract.

Barry Sheridan, Inviron’s business unit director, said: “Through the engagement process, we were able to demonstrate the necessary expertise and capabilities required in this critical space and prove that we are a partner of choice. We look forward to seeing our relationship mature and in supporting AtlasEdge through their growth in the UK.”

Marcel de Ruijter, AtlasEdge director of data centre operations, added: “Inviron has established an excellent reputation for first-class reliability, support and expertise – all delivered with the highest professionalism.”
