Facilities management provider Polyteck has been awarded a one-year contract worth at least £150,000 by asset and investment manager APML Estate.

Polyteck will carry out works at two of APML’s portfolios, covering a total of 16 buildings with more than 100 tenants. The hard FM services will include plumbing and gas, lighting, building and fabric, HVAC, drainage and water hygiene, as well as fire safety, mechanical, electrical and roof safety systems.

The firm will also carry out technical services and preventative and reactive maintenance, from task activity sheets to emergency repair responses, including a 24/7 call-out service.

APML Estate has a mixed-use London portfolio of industrial, commercial and residential properties, mainly in Knightsbridge and South Kensington, but extending across the South East. The firm is particularly known for its development of the Gloucester Arcade shopping and leisure complex.

John Yiannakis Polycarpou, chairman of Polyteck, said: “Polyteck is proud to serve APML Estate, a prestigious client that recognised the variety and breadth of services Polyteck can provide in-house, as well as the flexibility of the computer-aided facility management (CAFM) system our teams are using.

“We can also easily adapt and integrate the modality of their working procedures, all of which resulted in Polyteck coming out top of a competitive tender process. ”
