SPIE UK, a division of Imtech Group, has been selected as a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Security Services framework.

Under the 42-month agreement, SPIE UK will deliver physical, technical and support services through a CCS framework to provide security services to central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education, and devolved administrations.

The services that SPIE can provide under this framework include perimeter intrusion detection systems, alarms, lighting, CCTV, automatic access control, gates, and secure doors. Additionally, SPIE will be supporting local communities, providing job opportunities for young people, and vulnerable and minority groups. and will be contributing to the drive to net zero.

The contract follows a closed bid tender and it is intended that the framework will be the recommended vehicle for all security services required by UK central government departments.

Marise White, business development manager at SPIE UK, said: “This new commission provides a welcome acknowledgment of the CCS's trust in SPIE UK’s track record for delivering successful project outcomes. With SPIE’s wealth of experience in secure environments and extensive expertise in safety solutions, we look forward to providing a high standard of security services across central government departments and the UK public sector.”

The CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring goods and services. In 2021/22, it achieved commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion.
