Sasse Group's contract involves servicing 63 sites
German FM provider Sasse Group has announced that it has begun delivering soft services for Thames Valley Police.
Active since May, the contract sees Sasse servicing 63 sites across the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, comprising head offices, control centres and training grounds. Services include daily and periodic cleaning, hygiene, washroom, clinical, laundry, matting, and decontamination services.
The contract will see Sasse deploying its bespoke ‘Sasse 4–Level Hygiene Concept’ for cleaning and sanitising, disinfecting, protecting and certification of its services. In announcing the contract award, the company stated:
“From now on, and into the future, we believe that a one-size-fits-all cleaning concept will no longer be acceptable. Our hygiene concept with Thames Valley Police sees the start of this transition where we will offer 24/7 mobile cleaners and supervision, providing an ‘on-demand’ reactive cleaning service in a dynamic environment.”
Sasse is installing a bespoke app to track time and attendance, daily task management, job tickets and auditing.
Tim Colenutt, head of business development for Sasse said: “A close working team has been critical to building the relationship between Sasse and Thames Valley Police allowing both parties to understand the requirements and work together to find innovative solutions to the changing hygiene requirements after the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Following the contract’s mobilisation, Sasse intends to drive up window-cleaning standards and specialist carpet cleaning, providing an on-call team will also be responsible for reacting to the immediate calls for support for decontamination cleaning of vehicles, buildings and sensitive scenes.
