Ask the Expert Guides on CRC Reporting 2011

Open-access content Monday 16th May 2011 — updated 1.53pm, Tuesday 5th May 2020
Is your organisation a CRC participant? If so, you will need to submit a Footprint Report and Annual Report by 29 July 2011 to comply with the CRC.

5 May 2011

To help you with this the Environment Agency has produced six short films on key aspects of reporting, auditing and the publishing of the first Performance League Table in 2011.

These guides are of relevance to facilities and energy managers who are responsible for the daily management of the CRC and, in particular, the collection of the data required for CRC reporting

Ask the Expert: Short Guide to Evidence Packs
What an evidence pack is, how packs support CRC reporting and auditing and where to access templates. For detailed guidance see http://www.youtube.com/environmentagencytv#p/u/6/IgIBJwf-i48

This guide is for general information only and is not intended as specific advice.

Ask the Expert: Short Guide to Footprint Reports?
How Footprint Reports are used to compare emissions in the Annual Report fro CRC, use of Kwh, calculating your total footprint emissions and residual supply using the 90 per cent rule and which exclusions apply. For detailed guidance see http://www.youtube.com/environmentagencytv#p/u/5/N6mpXoF1vqs

This guide is for general information only and is not intended as specific advice.

Ask the Expert: Short Guide to Annual Reports
A guide to the CRC reporting process, how the Annual Report links into the Footprint Report and the types of energy usage data to be reported in Kwh by 29 July 2011. For detailed guidance  see http://www.youtube.com/environmentagencytv#p/u/4/_9loMTmoudI

This guide is for general information only and is not intended as specific advice.

Ask the Expert: Short Guide to Auditing
CRC auditing: internal audits by participants and compliance audits by the Environment Agency. Find out how supporting evidence, source lists, Footprint and Annual Reports are needed for auditing. For detailed guidance on auditing see http://www.youtube.com/environmentagencytv#p/u/3/7e3XVIG-HGE

This guide is for general information only and is not intended as specific advice.

Ask the Expert: Time managing CRC reporting

Tips on proactively managing CRC reporting to ensure you have the relevant data in time for submitting your Footprint and Annual Reports by 29 July 2011. For detailed guidance on CRC reporting see http://www.youtube.com/environmentagencytv#p/a/u/2/lwwKYg5HgCo

This guide is for general information only and is not intended as specific advice.

Ask the Expert: CRC Performance League Table

The CRC Performance League Table (PLT) ranks participating organisations - the better a participant performs in reducing carbon emissions the higher its position will be in the PLT. The PLT acts as a reputational incentive as it will be published annually by the Environment Agency. The first table is due to be published later in 2011. For detailed guidance on the PLT see http://www.youtube.com/environmentagencytv#p/a/u/1/DV8y2FPbGIE
