Property consultancy Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has won a contract to provide property and asset management services to a large portfolio of properties owned by Sheffield Mutual Friendly Society across the UK.
CPP's property and asset management team - headed by Matthew Fitzgerald - will now manage about 45 income-producing sites on behalf of the South Yorkshire-based society.
The company will be responsible for overseeing all relevant inspections, reviewing lease terms and liaising with tenants, as well as ensuring that all of the sites - including buildings leased to tenants operating in retail, hospitality, and financial service sectors operate in line with statutory compliance.
Fitzgerald, partner and head of property & asset management at CPP, said: "With the myriad of sites housing tenants operating in such a broad spectrum of sectors, our expertise and national experience mean we are ideally placed to coordinate activity whilst ensuring that their individual needs and legal requirements are adhered to ongoing."
Sheffield Mutual Friendly Society was established in 1892.
