The government has published further advice that brings together all the results and the views of the expert panel on the implications for building owners, according to communities secretary Sajid Javid's latest statement on Grenfell Tower.
He said the government would shortly be meeting with local authorities and housing associations to discuss further steps including the process in which remedial work is carried out.
Javid said he had also taken advice from an independent expert panel and written to building control bodies "to draw their attention to the issues that have been raised".
He added that the wider issues of competence and certification would also feed into Dame Judith Hackitt's review of building safety.
An Industry Response Group has also been established to "help the sectors required to improve building safety and to accordance their efforts".
