Pay and Prospects Report 2017

1 February 2018 | FM World team

Tickets are now available for the BIFM London annual conference, which takes place on 5th March at the Institution of Engineering and Technology in Savoy Place, London.

The event's theme is 'Technology and Innovation'.

Speakers will include Mike Gillespie from Advent IM, who will speak about the risks of cyber crime and how to counteract them given that hackers are increasingly targeting organisations through their building management systems and other FM-related technologies.

Mark Davenport, CEO of Smart Buildings, will speak about what the Internet of Things (IoT) means for the facilities management profession.

Colin Mooney, head of health, safety and facilities at the Crown Estate, will talk about the innovative approach the organisation took when it moved to its new home at St James Market, together with a look at the technology that supports the facility.

Other speakers include Lucy Jeynes from Larch Consulting, who will ask what cost you put on innovation in your FM service delivery; and Mark Catchlove from Herman Miller will present his research looking at creating an environment for innovation.

Tech guru Greg Williams, editor-in-chief of Wired magazine, will close the day by talking about the future of technology and its impact on the built environment.

Reserve your place here today.
