Global real estate adviser CBRE has been awarded a five-year integrated facilities management (IFM) contract with The Quadram Institute in Norwich.
The institute is a UK centre for research and training in food science and health.
Under the contract terms, CBRE will provide the complex with a fully integrated service including mechanical and electrical maintenance, fabric, cleaning, security, grounds maintenance and waste, when the building opens in early 2018.
CBRE was selected as the institute's chosen partner on the basis of its experience operating in the life sciences and research sector as well as its commitment to customer engagement.
Jon Benford, business unit director at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, said: "We believe that the service provision offered by CBRE will enhance this image and support a truly collaborative partnership between all parties."
