Apleona HSG Facility Management UK has secured a new contract with global automotive supplier ZF Group.
Under the three-year deal, valued at more than £2 million, Apleona will supply services including mechanical and electrical works, fabric, cleaning, waste management, postal services, porterage, pest control and project management at ZF's Solihull campus, which also has offices, laboratories and test areas.
The contract will see 26 employees join Apleona from the former service provider Carillion. Apleona will also retain the existing supply chain.
ZF has a global workforce of at least 146,000, in around 230 locations in 40 countries.
Alastair McQueen, ZF Group's vice-president, global systems engineering electric power steering, said he was delighted that Apleona had responded quickly to support to ZF's requirements.
"We are also happy that the employees of the former service provider working on this site have been retained by Apleona, maintaining jobs and allowing a seamless transition between suppliers," he said.
Apleona HSG Facility Management UK is part of the global Apleona Group, and provides integrated facility management solutions in the UK and Ireland.
