ThinkFM 2018: Digital innovation at world's tallest building

In the build-up to ThinkFM on 1 May, we're detailing the speakers and topics at BIFM's annual showcase conference.

 

Who: Emaar Properties PJSC's Bashar Kassab, director of FM, and Fadi Al Shakhshir, director of strategy & compliance, corporate FM.

 

What: Al Shakhshir and Kassab present a case study of digital innovation and cost savings at Dubai's Burj Khalifa.

 

When: 14.00 -14.30 Digital FM, the new era - case study of the Burj Khalfia.

 

About the speakers: Kassab is responsible for FM operations for Burj Khalifa and Al Shakhshir is an author, lecturer and FM professional who works as the director of strategy and compliance, corporate FM.

 

What is ThinkFM: The annual flagship conference from the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM). Hosted on 1 May at 200 Aldersgate near St Paul's Cathedral and the Barbican, London. It encourages debate and future thinking about the FM profession, focusing on how the industry needs to evolve to deliver benefits to business, the economy and wider society.

 

With this year's theme Think(beyond)FM 'Adapt or Disappear', delegates can expect discussion of the major disruptors in facilities management and how businesses and individuals can turn them into advantages.
